There are 2 main taxi companies in Furano and taxi services may be booked according to individual requirements for point-to-point or return trips, or for daily, half-daily or hourly hire.

Whilst taxis are available from ranks in the ski village, and in the township, taxis may not be hailed in the street. Restaurants and supermarkets will assist patrons by calling taxis upon request.
